David’s mother had never been to Hawaii, a long dream of hers and David has a sentimental idea, something he could do for his mother. He told her he would run the 2013 Honolulu Marathon on her behalf and she could travel to Hawaii and be there to support him; a trip that would mean so much to both mother and son!
